  1. OpenLMS — From the Dept. of Geography at NTNU in Trondheim Norway.
  2. Moodle — CMS that features a strong grounding in social constructionist pedagogy.
  3. LMS·QStutor — Focus on international standards compliance (AICC and ADL7SCORM).
  4. Ilias — Allows users to create, edit and publish learning and teaching material in an integrated system with their normal web browsers.
  5. Dokeos — Allows the teacher/trainer to create content, structure activities along a sequenced path, interact with students/trainees and follow their progress.
  6. .LRN — Course management, online communities, learning management, and content management applications. Originally developed at MIT as part of the Intellectual Commons.
  7. CourseForum — Web-based e-learning software that makes it easy for you and your students to interact, whether to create, post, share or discuss course content.
  8. Fle3 — Server software for computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL).
  9. Open Knowledge Initiative (OKI) — Specifications that describe how the components of an educational software environment communicate with each other and with other enterprise systems.
