NBCABCCNN@aol.com writes: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE DISTRIBUTE Please pass on to Nancy Lord and Macon Press New information on the Macon/Bob Starr case: The ATF source who released the bad information to CBS, that the Macon militia was planning to cause trouble at the Olympics, is a man by the name of Jose Pedia. He is currently Treasury's number 1 PR man in DC. Background on Pedia includes working for Customs as well as Treasury. He has also worked for Rostenkowski and directly for Lloyd Bentsen. CBS has refused to back off from their original reports tying the Macon militia to the Olympics, now we know why. In other ATF news, [the story on] Operation Leatherneck, on which CBS' Mike Wallace and Charlie Thompson have full documentation, will probably be released shortly. CBS refused to allow their 60 Minutes program to run the story on Leatherneck, due to major corporation heads being tied to the gun running, dope smuggling and money laundering business. A twenty year veteran (now unemployed by Treasury) as an ATF undercover international arms smuggler, has made numerous attempts to release this information. Along with Leatherneck being exposed, the BATF "Roll Call" transcript, may also be made public. This document is a transcript of an ATF meeting in which Tom Busey, chief of NFA, admits to lying in court. Stay tuned.
