In considering the new antiterrorism legislation, the Senate listened to

Louis Freeh hold forth on the need for authority to perform wiretaps and

to surveil people, He was quite adamant that the authority was not

wanted so that the Federal Bureau of Intimidation could run amok among

the American people. It was to be very carefully used to combat the

terrorists who are, well, terrorizing America.



He apologized for the incautious and unwise haste employed by his agency

in the wake of the Olympic bombing. First it was leaked to the media

that the Gadsden Minute Men were under investigation because a member

had been positively identified as being present at the site of the

explosion. He had been "positively ID'ed" from video surveillance at the

bombing site, compared to a surveillance photo of the man attending a

court hearing in Macon Georgia for Robert Starr.



DO WHAT?!? Let's examine this. DEREK UNDERWOOD ATTENDED A COURT HEARING;

AS A RESULT, HE HAD TO EXPLAIN HIS WHEREABOUTS TO THE FBI because some

twit had Derek's picture and "positively identified" him as being at a

bombing site.. Derek has never been accused of harming another soul,

materially or physically or by threat. Thank God- thank You , Lord, most

sincerely from my heart- that you saw fit to bring Derek into this world

on a date which encouraged him to celebrate his birth at The Barn in

Ashville, Alabama, at midnight on the night of July 26, 1996.



WHAT IF I HAD BEEN AT THAT CONCERT, LOUIE? WOULD I NOW BE HAVING MY HOME

SEARCHED FOR MASKING TAPE AND NAILS? Am I not to be allowed to go to

public events, for the additional fear that if anything happens, I will

be held responsible?



Louie, you spineless pimp, why did you have a picture of my friend which

to compare to the video of the bombing site? At a rock concert, how many

tall, slender white males with long dirty blond hair would be expected

to be present? What prompted you to go to Derek's MOTHER's home at ten

o'clock SATURDAY NIGHT, prompting her to call the police to find out who

the two suits were?



If you knew that he was a Gadsden Minute Man, why didn't you take me up

on my instant offer to you SATURDAY MORNING to render you any assistance

that I could? Why didn't you take me up on the same offer which I

repeated on SUNDAY MORNING, when I found out you were looking for him,

and I told you that he was a hundred and some miles away in the presence

of witnesses in a public place when the bomb went off?



Derek doesn't have a listed phone. Does that make him a criminal? He

called you Sunday morning, and you were rude and threatening to him. I

had counseled him to seek a meeting in a public place, a Shoney's

restaurant, to wit, and you refused. Is this how you treat an American

doing his level best to HELP you? Later that day we met your boys in a

restaurant- to wit, a Shoney's- at the suggestion of YOUR special

agents, who wanted to move the venue (for fear of what- the media? Or

big, bad militia men lying in ambush? Get real, you drooling fool. You

KNOW that we are going to involve the media- and you can't avoid it- it

is the only protection, short of firearms, that we have.).



How had they come to behave (semi)politely? An American who knew his

rights, and who knew your lawless methods, AND WHO ISN'T AFRAID OF YOU-

IN FACT FINDS YOU BENEATH CONTEMPT- boxed your agent's ears, and

recorded the conversations, then ran to the press. Why do we have to

behave this way?



Because, Louie, you are our hired help and fail to recognize your place.



Why was Mr. Jewell's name released and all public focus pointed to him,

when you STILL have not arrested him?



After Waco and Ruby Ridge; after COINTELPRO; after J Edgar and MLK-

after having your local SAC write letters to the editors and assure

everyone that you only investigate on reasonable suspicion or probable

cause- assuring everyone that you are not *Secret Police*- you have the

gall to stand before the Senate and promise that you don't want to

bother anybody (any more), you just want to have authority to chase

terrorists. You won't bother innocent Americans- ANY MORE.



WE KNOW HOW YOU DON'T BOTHER PEOPLE, LOUIE- AND WE DEMAND THAT YOU STOP.

START LOOKING OUT FOR THE CONSTITUTION- aren't you sworn to uphold it?-

AND STOP LOOKING OUT FOR FREEHDOM. How many pictures do you have of me?

I hope they are better ones than the one you used to *positively ID
