FOR DISTRIBUTION PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 29, 1996 ---------------------------------------------------------- MILITIA INTELLIGENCE ADVISED LAW ENFORCEMENT OF POTENTIAL THREATS TO WORLD GAMES On May 22, 1996, a militia intelligence report was sent to authorities regarding threats to athletes and/or spectators attending the Olympic games. This was done in hopes that any terrorist action would be avoided. The information was also disseminated to all major media outlets nationwide. The report, compiled by the National Militia Intelligence Network (NMIN), named individuals and organizations who were identified by constitutional militia members and other sources as being viable threats to the event. Col. James McKinzey, Commander of the Missouri 51st Militia, has been in contact with local authorities in an attempt to discuss this information first hand. Col. McKinzey states, "We cannot continue to let innocent Americans suffer because of terrorist organizations. We cannot continue to allow the sick individuals who belong to them to go unpunished because of inaction by the government and the media." Col. McKinzey also declares that "As the leader of a Missouri and United States Constitutional Militia I want to make clear that there is no threat to Americans from their constitutional militia. Constitutional militia are defensive, not offensive, organizations. Our mission is to preserve peace, not to take lives. FOR CONFIRMATION CONTACT: Lt. Col. Kay Sheil, Ex.
