--------------------- Forwarded message: Subj: Militia Meeting Program of Events Date: 96-05-14 21:28:41 EDT From: CopWatch Please repost and distribute via internet, fax and voice. Welcome to the militia's second annual "Good Ol' Boys Roundup," hosted by the Gadsden Minutemen (Alabama), E. Pluribus Unum (Ohio) and Tennessee Volunteer Militia May 17, 18 and 19th, 1996 This annual event is held every year to commemorate the demise of the ATF sponsored racist "Good Ol' Boys Roundup," which was held annually by the bureau for fifteen years until militia operation "Achilles Heel," brought it to an end. This year's militia meeting will have representatives from around the country, also this year, there will be donation buckets set up in various places around the campsite, these donations are for the "Bob Starr Fund." Starr was set-up and arrested on April 26, 1996 for explosives. Bob is a leader in the Georgia Militia. Bob is currently being held without bond in the Bibb County Jail. This fund is to support his family and to pay defense costs. We ask that you please contribute any amount you can. There will be complete information on this case made available during our speakers session on Saturday night. On Saturday, beginning at lunch time, we will have concessions available (hot dogs, soft drinks and snacks), these concessions are available to everyone, but we ask for a small donation for what you take. No prices are set, that's for you to decide. The proceeds from this will go to support the Starr Fund and the Gadsden Minutemen Newsletter, of which you can subscribe, for free, by dropping your name and address off with one of the GMM representatives. On Saturday, there will be a handgun competition, we encourage everyone to participate (no age restrictions). Entrance fee is five dollars with one quarter of the gross accumulated entrance fee awarded to the winner, all other proceeds go to the Bob Starr Fund. Please enter this competition, no one cares how good you can shoot, we are doing this simply to raise money for the Starr family and to have a little fun. An open firing line will be available all weekend, however, anyone wishing to shoot, must first get approval from our firing line officer, Van Lipscomb. The rules of this event are simple: (1) Alcoholic beverages are allowed in the camping area, however anyone who gets disorderly will be escorted off the premises. (2) No alcoholic beverages are allowed on or near the firing line, anyone who is under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted on the line. (3) The firing line is shut down at dark. (4) All campfires must be within the campground area. (5) You are free to wonder the premises, however, private houses, barns and out-buildings are off limits. (6) No racist literature or remarks (Confederate flags are welcome), everyone is to be treated with respect. As you will see, no one will be asked for any admission fees, however, we plead with you to donate to the Starr Fund. This trial will certainly have a major impact on militias in the future, it is extremely important that the truth be completley exposed in this case. In order to do that we obtained the best Patriotic lawyer in the business, Nancy Lord, however, Bob has been denied bond and his family has no means to support themselves. We cannot allow this family to go unsupported because the government framed an innocent man. Please help if you can, if you cannot afford to support monetarily, we understand, however, please pray that this case will be heard by a fair and impartial judge and jury. Thank you from the Gadsden Minutemen, E. Pluribus Unum and Tennessee Volunteer Militia.
