Facebook has closed its London office after a representative tested positive for coronavirus. It said the premises had been shut promptly, and its offices will be deep cleaned. The conclusion comes after a representative from Facebook's Singapore office, who has been diagnosed to have coronavirus, visited the organization's London premises.
Facebook said that person was last in a London office on 26 February. A Facebook spokesperson said, "A worker situated in our Singapore office who has been determined to have COVID-19 visited our London workplaces February 24-26 2020. We are in this manner shutting our London workplaces until Monday for deep cleaning, and representatives are working from home up to that point."
Anybody who had direct contact with the infected person has been asked to self-isolate and be alert in watching for a warning sign.
