JOHN DOE #2 IDENTIFIED, BUT CAN WE GET THE FBI TO ARREST HIM? Part 18 by Mike Vanderboegh, 1 ACR ANNOUNCEMENT: To the relief of the FBI, ATF, GSG9 and other agencies and NGOs covering up for Strassmeir, Lyons, and John Does everywhere, this will be the last of the serial titled: "John Doe #2 Identified." However, to the continued consternation of same, we will be changing the format a bit, trying to get on some sort of regular schedule, and our new publication will be sort of an online OKC bombing conspiracy "newspaper" titled "The John Doe Times." Actually we will be starting out with Vol. II, No. 1, with all the previous "JD2 Indentifieds" comprising Vol. I. You didn't think we were giving up that easy, did you? Advice from other more experienced internet publishers with web pages, mailing lists, etc. is gratefully accepted. Letters to the editor, analysis pieces, etc. also cheerfully accepted. Sorry, though, you'll get paid the same rate we do-- which is zero. Patriots do for free what mercenaries charge for. Please submit any items to this email address: Mo10Cav@aol.com. Much has happened since the posting of Part 17, a summary of which you will find in "John Doe Times" Vol. II, No. 1. One network news program will be out visiting the Wilburn's this week. The Day and Date piece which aired August 12 is reported to have reverberated in the White House. ("George, I thought you had NBC under control." "So did I, Mr. President.") Look for big break in Mueller case coming up soon to a TV screen near you. The only question is: will they have the guts to tie it to OKC? 1 ACR has obtained the detailed inventory from the Shawnee, Kansas storage locker of Commander Pedro and his Lost Planet Aryans, as well as the list of property stolen from the Mueller's. We will be printing those in upcoming issues of "The John Doe Times". Dennis Mahon and yours truly did an hour each back-to-back on short wave earlier this month and transcripts of those VERY enlightening comments will also be featured in upcoming issues of "John Doe Times". (You'll especially like the love note Dennis Mahon sent little "Tiny Timmy" McVeigh at the end of his hour. I teared up....) COMMANDER PEDRO, BEFORE RECRUITING HIS LOST PLANET ARYANS, WAS A SNITCH FOR THE SECRET SERVICE--------- But now, without further ado, the last of the "John Doe #2 Identifieds". Our text is taken from that best of little newspapers of Oklahoma, the McCurtain Gazette, from their Sunday, 18 August issue. Another marvelous little story by J.D. Cash headlined: FEDERAL AGENCY PUT ARYAN ARMY BANK BANDITS IN BUSINESS by J.D. Cash, with Jeff Holladay The Elohim City religious compound near Muldrow.... Aryan terrorists.... federal agency undercover efforts.... and even bank robberies to finance terrorism. Those are some of the far-reaching links uncovered in an investigation of the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995. Yet, one of the most improbable events of all, the Gazette has recently learned, is that a former Ku Klux Klan member sprung from jail by the U.S. Secret Service to become an informant-- who became instead a self-proclaimed Aryan terrorist bank robber. The district attorney for the Northern Judicial Circuit in Georgia says he was "uncomfortable" about the arrangement approved in 1993 which allowed Secret Service agents to spring a man who today is accused of executing a string of 18 bank robberies. This newspaper has learned that the government hired Peter K. Langan, a Ku Klux Klan member with a history of violence, as an informant. Langan had been awaiting trial for an armed robbery of a Pizza Hut in Lavonia, Georgia, when the Secret Service showed up in August 1993 to offer a deal. According to a sworn affidavit by FBI agent Kenneth C. Howard, filed in federal court in Georgia, Langan agreed to be an informant for the Secret service, which was seeking undercover information on far-right wing militant groups. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- TRANSCRIBER'S NOTE: "Have we got our federal snitch books out, children? Please fill in Mr. Langan's name on the Secret Service page. No, Jimmy, Mr. Strassmeir belongs on the ATF page with Stewart Waterhouse and Larry Wayne Crow and the, yes that's right.... No, Peggy, Mr. Lyons goes on the FBI page underneath Mr. Bangerter. Yes, that's right, he's called "Bombing Johnny" Bangerter. Questions? Yes, Willy, this is your tax dollars at work...." "Yes, Cindy, that might be why Mr. Guthrie ended up dead in his cell instead of Mr. Langan....Good point." ----------------------------------------------------------------------- As reported during July in the Gazette, Langan, 38, is alleged to have led a group of self-proclaimed revolutionaries on a series of bank heists in seven states across the Midwest. The FBI believes the group's effort netted them more than $200,000 from January, 1994, to December, 1995 -- none of which has been recovered. Two men captured in connection with the heists have entered plea bargains. They also admitted they used a portion of the stolen money to fund various domestic right-wing terrorist groups. At a preliminary hearing in Columbus, Ohio, former white supremacist Kevin McCarthy, 19, told the court the bank robbers called themselves the "Aryan Republican Army." He also swore under oath that their goal was to overthrow the U.S. government. Van Buren, Ark., not far from Elohim City, was where McCarthy told the court he and a friend, Scott A. Stedeford, 27, were introduced to Langan at a meeting in October or November 1994. Also present was Mark Thomas, 44, of Pennsylvania, an Aryan Nations leader. McCarthy said Langan was accompanied to the meeting by seasoned fellow gang member Richard Guthrie, Jr. McCarthy said Langan and McCarthy bragged about having already robbed 12 banks and outlined their plans to rob even more. THE ELOHIM CITY LINK As earlier reported by the Gazette, Thomas, McCarthy and Stedeford had established ties to the religious commune called Elohim City near the Arkansas-Oklahoma state line. The Rev. Robert Millar, the spiritual leader of the 80-member community, said Stedeford stayed at Elohim City for a short time prior to the Oklahoma City bombing, while the younger McCarthy actually lived at the compound for several months. Millar also told this newspaper that Mark Thomas, an Aryan Nation leader, was a regular visitor to Elohim City because his son resided there. He also said Thomas traveled from Pennsylvania to Elohim City in the days just before the Oklahoma City bombing. The Rev. Millar has yet to publicly confirm that Oklahoma City bombing suspect Timothy McVeigh was also an occasional visitor at the 1,000-acre wooded compound, though the Gazette has received reports and information indicating that, indeed, McVeigh had visited Elohim City several times. SECRET SERVICE AGENT After striking a deal with Langan, agents now admit they helped the robbery suspect move into a home in Cincinnati, Ohio, even paying to have his phones installed. For his part, Langan was supposed to locate his old friend, Richard Guthrie, whom the Secret Service believed might be dangerous. The Columbus Dispatch newspaper quoted the Secret Service agent in charge of the Cincinnati office, Dick Rathnell, as saying, "Our main interest was to find if there was an interest to harm the president or overthrow the government." He added that the federal government agency's "main focus was on Guthrie. We didn't realize they were these bank robbers." LANGAN'S BRUSH WITH DEATH A few month's after the Oklahoma City bombing, one of the group's alleged "safe houses" in Kansas was closed down and a new one rented in Columbus, OH. Acting on information, the FBI surrounded Langan's residence on Jan 18. When the suspect left the house, agents shouted for him to surrender. What ensued was a 45-second firefight, with federal agents firing at least 47 rounds at Langan-- who was sitting inside his van in the driveway. Langan suffered only minor wounds, despite his vehicle being riddled with more than 30 rounds. Treated and released to authorities on the same day, Langan was jailed but began swapping information with authorities. That lead to the discovery of the group's storage locker in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Aryan Nations how-to literature, bomb-making components, plastic explosive and black powder explosives, pipe bombs, survival gear, wigs, masks, costumes, fake identification papers, firearms and a huge cache of ammunition. Meanwhile Guthrie had been apprehended by agents three days before Langan's arrest. After a two-mile chase through Cincinnati, Guthrie lost control of his vehicle, crashing it into a snowbank, where he was arrested. In July, Guthrie agreed to a plea bargain in which he would testify against the other defendants charged in the robbery conspiracy. But only nine days after signing the deal with prosecutors-- and just one day after telling the Los Angeles Times reporter he intended to write a "tell-all" book about the entire white supremamcist scheme-- Guthrie was found hanged in his jail cell in Covington, Kentucky. His death was ruled a suicide. Langan's trial is set to begin this October, but events even more shocking than the bank robberies themselves could come to light. The Columbus Dispatch newspaper quoted Langan's sister, Leslie Mahoney, on Langan's remarks about the upcoming trial: "When they (the FBI) find out what I've really been doing the past two years, they'll really be surprised." END OF STORY. Coming Up Next: Commander Pedro and other items of interest to the Lost Planet Aryans.
